Uprise Camp is a summer camp for teenagers who want to learn how to use direct action to make change. They learn about racial equity, regenerative agriculture, art production, and other aspects of justice work. Working with their mentors at camp, they craft their own plans for how to work for the issues important to them using nonviolent civil disobedience.

Young Vermont leaders organize for social justice. A crowd of 5,000 demonstrators filled Montpelier’s streets and the lawn in front of the Vermont Statehouse to honor the memory of black Americans killed by police.
